The body and the camera at play in the rituals of trance and possession II
For this next cycle Coupé Décalé we propose to deepen the theme of trance and possession. Trance is a vast subject, often studied in cultures that represent « otherness ». What, then, of this notion of exoticism? Can we take a « subjective » look at trance that could allow us to give this phenomenon a wider spectrum of existence? What similar phenomenas can be found in Western and European cultures?
